23日、東京ゲームショウにて海外情報サイト「ign.com」が『FF12』の河津プロデューサーにインタビューを行い、驚くべき情報を聞き出した。 なんと、北米版『FF12』には、国内版にはないシーンが追加されていると言うのだ。 移植に当たっての微調整の有無についての質問に対し、河津氏が「日本版ではカットされたシーンがある」「そのシーンがあると日本では対象年齢を変更しなくてはならなかった」「しかしESRB(北米でのゲームの推奨年齢指標)では問題なさそうだったのでまた入れた」と答えたのがその情報の元となっている。どんなシーンなのかについては返答を得られていない。 『FF12』のインターナショナル版の発売予定は現時点では全くないが、こういった情報が出た以上日本のFFファンを刺激するのは必定といえる。なお、北米版『FF12』は10月31日発売予定。 ign.com:『FF12』スタッフインタビュー 『FF12』公式サイト |
