now you can see the serial data transfer actually works. the DIL switch and the keys are multiplexed with the keys, since it is only a small 16F54 PIC. what you see in this video is serial communication using 2 wires. the data is transfered from PIC1 to PIC2. also some resistors have been removed, since it is possible to use the LEDs resistors also for keys, and DIL switches. you can see some small differences on the PCB- for instance, resistors removed, and a different buzzer (from my old Q1 digital camera). and...a new video on YOUTUBE! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dvc7CTt-GyA now...a first test of serial data flow between two PICs. it is done in software (not using hardware I2C). |
