 http://piclab.mtfujitown.info it is demo board for microcontroller 16F59 -16 LED matrix (4x4), SMD LEDs -8 LED bank, special blue rectangle LEDs -128x32 LCD -7 segment LED (x4) -2Kbyte EEPROM -3 keys -solar cell, 2xAA battery power supply -charge from USB, or operate the LEDs for a long time the PCB and the LCD cost each. other parts... the cost adds up to . normal PIC demo boards sell at 0 and more! there will be various software demo's included! -random number on LED matrix -LED 7 segment counter, clock -LCD clock -LCD text -EEPROM control via I2C -LED flashlight -button scanning there are boards on the market already. they are often complicated! many buttons (20 or so). programming interface, RS232, USB 2 LCDs many IC sockets DIL switches they are also good, there is software included (C compiler, or BASIC). my demo board is more easy to use. the schematic can be understood easily. OK LCD programming is difficult anyway! but people can create LED flashlight within a short time. scrolling numbers on LED matrix! i use special SMD LEDs (square). never tried before! i have tried different variations using PCB software. the LCD connector is difficult to mount on the PCB! it is tiny SMD part.  new food items!
